Description:

Our Orthopaedic Office MRI Department is seeking an Authorization Specialist.  This position is responsible for prior authorization for advanced imaging.

Essential Duties and Qualifications:

• Ability to manage high-volume authorization with insurance carriers
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Excellent communication/telephone etiquette and customer service a must
• Minimum of 3-5 year’s previous medical office experience
• High school diploma/advanced education a plus

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Basic computer skills
